How long should I burn my candle for?

Burn for 2–3 hours at a time to avoid tunnelling and to build an even melt pool.

How do I avoid tunnelling?

Always let the first burn reach the edges of the container.

Why does my candle have frosting or slight imperfections?

Soy wax is natural — frosting, tiny air bubbles or slight top variations are normal and show it's a real handmade product.

Why does the flame flicker or smoke sometimes?

Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn to prevent soot and ensure a clean flame.

For wax melts - What burner should I use?

Only use a proper wax melt burner. Avoid oil burners under 10cm tall.
